Doug knew what he wanted ever since he was a kid in Columbus, Ohio. But he had to wait a few more years until his dad broke down and bought a color TV. The other thing he wanted was to be just like anchorman Peter Jennings. As the years passed, Doug got to cover news from Wyoming to Nashville. After a stint as a senior writer and story editor at CNN, he came back to Memphis, ostensibly to work as a producer in the FedEx media department but mostly because he missed the barbecue and the politics. |
