She must have done something right, because she stayed there for 20 years. Running Pony finally wooed her away with an offer of a 200-foot yacht and a $1,000,000 salary. Even after she realized the offer was bogus, Pam took the job and stayed for several years, eventually leaving to spend more time traveling with her husband, Andy.  Finally, she got bored of that (or Andy) and returned to Running Pony on a part-time basis to focus on New Business Development.
