While working his way up from an intern to a V.P. at CNN, Steve got to do a lot of cool stuff, like running into famous people (see Dumbest Thing I’ve Ever Done) and visiting the Oval Office. He’s also got a sick need for speed: for his 40th birthday, he went 160 mph at motorcycle racing school. Couple of years later, he took a NASCAR on a 145 mph joyride. Needless to say, we clear a path in the Running Pony parking lot when Steve’s on the way in. In addition to being a speeder, he’s also our ‘traffic cop’: as Operations Manager, he keeps things running smoothly. And you gotta love a traffic cop who doesn’t mind a little speeding.
